• Enquiry and contact details: your name, telephone number, email address and postal address.
• Site and project information: the address where work is to be carried out, access arrangements, photographs of the site and details of the works requested.
• Contract and payment records: quotes, invoices, payment references and bank details used to receive payment. We do not store full card details.
• Correspondence: emails, messages, call notes and any complaint or warranty records.
• Technical data: limited information about your visit to this website, such as pages viewed, where analytics are in use.

3. Our lawful bases for using your data

• Performance of a contract: to prepare a quote, carry out the works, invoice you and handle aftercare.
• Legal obligation: to keep accounting, tax, health and safety and insurance records.
• Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, manage our business, keep records of works carried out, and defend legal claims. We balance these interests against your rights.
• Consent: where we send you optional marketing, or use your project photographs for promotional purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share your data with

We may share your information with:

• subcontractors and suppliers who need it to carry out or deliver to your job;
• our accountants, bookkeepers and professional advisers;
• our insurers and, where relevant, loss adjusters;

We do not sell your personal data. We do not routinely transfer data outside the UK.

5. How long we keep it

• Unsuccessful enquiries and quotes: up to 12 months.
• Contract, invoice and accounting records: 6 years from the end of the financial year in which the work was completed, in line with HMRC requirements.
• Records relating to structural or building works, and health and safety records: up to 12 years, reflecting the limitation period for claims.
